Chiang Mai in the North of Thailand is a magical city, famous for its Night Market and the Doi Suthep temple on the mountain overlooking the town.

Chiang Mai is easily accessible from Bangkok with several flights a day. There are also non-stop flights from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Otherwise there are regular flights from Bangkok on Thai Air and Air Asia.

Chiang Mai has great food and an abundance of restaurants along the river, and in a low key kind of way, quite a vibrant night life.
